It wasn’t the way those Wranglers held those long-long legs all the way up to the world’s finest ass. It wasn’t the tight t-shirt that showed each and every ripple in the six-pack or the lines of black ink just peeking from under the edge of the sleeve. Not the way that Stetson cut a shadow across steel-cut cheekbones or the scar going from bottom lip to stubborn chin or the silver cross resting in the tanned hollow of that throat. It wasn’t even the toothpick that dangled under that dark mustache.
Nope.
It was those eyes. Those, gee-I’m-going-to-turn-your-world-upside-down-and-make-you-love-it, eyes that laughed at him over the ugliest pair of truck stop sunglasses known to man.
